This month’s updates to EXACT include a series of practical changes designed to support your day-to-day tasks. From clearer pop-up note options, updated patient details, smoother appointment book experiences and faster access to third-party tools, this month’s updates will assist in streamlining your work.

Changes have been made to patient record functionality, with some new additions, updates and a bug fix.
📝 Several new colour options have been added for pop-up notes:
🏥 If a doctor has been selected, their company and phone number will be displayed on the patient's Medical tab.
🐜 An issue caused by using ‘illegal characters’ in the description of a contact document no longer occurs.
📄 An up-to-date Denplan Care Contract Assessment Form has been added. Changes include:
The appointment book has received updates for family appointments and short-notice list functionality.
📅 Family Appointments: Double-clicking a family member on the Edit Appointment window now changes the selected patient to the clicked family member.
📅 Short Notice List: If a patient only has a mobile number, clicking on the number in the Short Notice List tab opens a new prompt allowing the user to send an SMS or call the patient on their mobile.
🐜 Fixed an issue where the provider field was not populated when an appointment was copied to the clipboard.
Connection to third-party software has been streamlined, with faster load times and additional notifications.
🔗 Standard links (including Second Opinion) preload in the background as soon as the 'Chart' tab is clicked on the patient's record.
🔮A flashing alert has been added to the Second Opinion AI tab when an image has been processed and is ready to be viewed.
🐜 Fixed an issue with the Second Opinion AI flashing alert, where preloading set the image as viewed as soon as the tab was loaded in the background.
🔐 Cloud OAuth now provides a unique session when logging in to EXACT, allowing seamless logins by individual users. For example, all users can now log in to Second Opinion AI using their EXACT credentials.
NHS
Clinipad NHS forms have been updated:
📱England and Wales: Expanded the explanatory text for the Universal Credit option.
📱 England and Wales: Removed the NHS Tax Credit exemption option.
📱 Northern Ireland: The 'I am on the list of another dentist' and 'Providing treatment on referral' options are no longer mutually exclusive.
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes
Updates to other features and functionality in EXACT include:
🐜 Eire: Fixed an issue, causing payor transactions to crash.
⚙️ Quick chart menu configuration can be accessed from the service list setup wizard.
⚙️ A notes section has been added to the Software tab of the Help - About window. The intended use of this is for adding information of importance, such as physical server location, to help with faster identification.
🐜 Fixed an issue where an exception could cause the new server installer to fail if the staging folder was being accessed by another process.
🐜 Fixed an issue when loading a UDA contract via Administration > NHS > UDA Manager… displayed incorrect ‘Disputed’, ‘In Progress’, ‘Unresolved’ and ‘Unsent’ UDA information.
🐜 Fixed an issue where users who remain logged in to EXACT overnight could receive an 'upgrade EXACT' message and trigger an upgrade during work hours. Messages now have a short expiry time.
💱 Users can now display the payment transaction/receipt comments on the Receipt Analysis report.
🐜 Instant messages are now cleaned up in all instances.
🐜 Addressed an issue where COT lines were duplicated in some cases.
