We are excited to share the latest updates to EXACT, introduced throughout September, and designed to help your team deliver exceptional patient care. This monthβs enhancements include new functionality in the short notice list, a streamlined process for identifying patients in credit and various operational improvements.

With your appointment book at the heart of your reception team, we understand how minor changes can make big improvements. The short notice list is a valuable tool when it comes to filling white space and has received a couple of updates.
π The puzzle icon is now displayed in the first column of the patient appointment window if the appointment is listed in the short notice list.
π In addition to this, the appointment information window now displays if an appointment is on the short notice list.
π A new column has been added to the short notice list, displaying a patients payor information and includes the option to sort the order or payors.
π The contact methods in the short notice list are now interactive, this means that users can send an email or SMS and access the call patient feature from the short notice list for patients on the list.
A popular request has been implemented in the debtors list report to assist in locating patients in credit. When running the report simply tick the creditors option to solely view patients in credit.
Several operational improvements have been made to resolve some performance and accessibility issues implemented through a security change.
βοΈ A new scanning feature has been added, this will present a new prompt when the configured scanner is not available for use. This prompt provides access to any alternative scanning options available.
π An issue with patient list templates crashing EXACT has been resolved.
π A bug with EXACT updates occurring during working hours is no longer an issue and was found to be caused by a delayed update when practice servers were not available during the scheduled update times.
π Crashing and freezing issues that affected the chart history as well as the opening and closing of treatment items or editing clinical notes has been resolved.
βοΈ Updates to the Windows file association have been implemented.
βοΈ Long email addresses are no longer shortened when displayed on the password reset prompt.
βοΈ Configuration changes have been made to only display the password reset prompt has been configured for practices with email configured and enabled.
π An issue preventing practices in Singapore from updating EXACT has been resolved.
An update to the Was Not Brought status has been made, resetting the status when dragging, copying, or cutting a family appointment to the hold list.
π NHS Northern Ireland: A bug causing all charted services that should be covered by capitation to have fees applied when the appointment was necessitated by trauma has been resolved. In addition, only services 0101, 0111, or 0121 covered by capitation will incur a fee.
π NHS: An issue with adults who were exempt from fees not being calculated in the UDA Breakdown report has been resolved.
π NHS: Patients under 5 years old are no longer counted on the UDA Breakdown report.
π NHS Scotland: An Issue causing the composite supplement warning prompt to incorrectly open for unsaved chart items when TC'ing has been resolved.
A notifications feature has been added to EXACT Hub, helping to highlight new solutions and updates within EXACT Hub.
π EXACT Hub notifications will appear upon login for practices with access to EXACT Hub.
π Badges have been added to the workspace icon to highlight the availability of any EXACT Hub notifications.
In addition to everything already mentioned, we made more changes to EXACT in September.
π¨ The description field in emails has been changed to 'subject'. Helping users to understand the purpose of this text field.
πΈ A navigational button has been added below the Pearl AI tab enabling users to launch Examine Pro to take an x-ray and view the analysis in Pearl AI on the same screen.
π Patient Portal resets now include patients's occupation and family members, an additional issue with auditing of family members has been resolved.
π’ Marketing Manager: A previously implemented change, EXACT 24.110, has been reverted in order that the title displays the campaign reason when editing existing campaigns.
π The wording of the internet connection error prompt has been updated to improve the clarity of the message.
π The standard link V2 functionality for the full-screen button has been improved, minimised windows will now be restored to full-screen if they are still open.
