This month’s release brings a range of updates and important fixes to **EX**ACT. From a new dashboard icon for improved access functionality to resolving issues with appointment booking and calendar connections, these updates are designed to make your daily workflow easier and more reliable.

### Improvements

Updates and changes:

🖥️ A new Dashboard icon has been added to the workspace, along with a dashboard menu option under the File menu. Selecting either of these options will bring the dashboard screen to the front of **EX**ACT.

### Bug Fixes

Issue resolutions and bug fixes:

🐜 An issue with the **Short Notice List** incorrectly sending a GAP GONE SMS text message when an appointment was booked from the room column of the appointment book has been resolved.

🐜 Resolved a bug causing the Doctor’s information to be unsaved for new patients.

🐜 Fixed an issue where appointments starting or finishing at 12 PM caused the iCal (digital calendar connection) to create an incorrect time in patients’ calendars.

 

The updates and content in this blog have been implemented throughout August 2025 in versions 25.142 to 25.158 of **EX**ACT.
